Just like in Real Live (RL) you can help charity organisations in Second Life (SL). I love animals and therefore i joined the WWF and PETA. Unfortunately you can only join 25 groups and since i have a lot of so called vendor groups (groups to be able to place your merchandise / set up shop on someone else his/her land), so i left Stop Child Pornography. This group does fabulous work tracking child porn down and I would like to see more action against child porn in every live! My heart and support also go out to the Relay for Life group. On Java Island and the surrounding islands, you can find donation poles for this group. Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. “Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back”. Contact Chelle Moore if you want to support!
There are lot’s of groups i would like to join, but can’t at the moment. But in my own way i support them. Like you can find free PETA shirts in the freebie dungeon, so go on and grab them! To me it’s important to not only focus on my own world but to look around and try to make this huge world a bit better. Everyone can make it a little better, we have the chance to make a difference every single day.
