Lag!! and what we do about it :)
What's up? August 13th, 2010
As you prolly noticed if you been to Java Island in the last few days, the lag was huge at times.
With help of some great Lindens the performance is so much better! I also disabled scripts to see the performance impact. We are able to move again YAY !
Scripts will be turned on soon, to see the effect. It is such a pity you can’t use translators when scripting is off. That is the most important reason to enable scripting and we will turn it back on later today.
LindenLab is working on lots of improvements, you can tribute by wearing low lag scripted huds/hair/boots etc.
