Better
Wow… we have had some problems in Second Life. Technical that is… and due to this all sales dropped. Everybody is complaining and some people are seriously thinking about leaving SL. If you have land you pay tier every month. It’s very sad to have to sell your land due to loss of income. On the web blog of SL you can read all about maintenance and the new developments. I will post a few responds from people to show you how important SL has become:
• The only good side to all this is that you’ll push away all the people who can’t be doing with the stress of running a business in a failing world, and then there’ll be more customers for those of us who do stay. I’ve invested US$8000 in SL over the past 10 months. Not made a penny back yet, and unlikely to at this rate. But I don’t walk away from that kind of investment. Yet.
• Hmmmm..This is excelent…You would think after a month of this happening you would know how to stop it, This has easily been the worst month I have seen in sl, Losing money from no business because of crashing, Losing items because of god knows what, And most of all….
Im missing my own wedding because of this, Thanks a million LL
• I REALLY like SL. My fiance hooked me up in 2006 and I love the power to create and recreate and explore. It can be a wonder land to a person who’s life is filled is absolute responsibility. A place to play and grow and expand. I applaud the vision, the courage, and all the “players” in the field who co-create SL.
I just simply LOVE SL. To me it’s the world but at times it is getting hard to be a ‘happy’ resident in the last few months. Lots of issues create lag and when that happends it is hard to create or even impossible at times. I do wish Linden Lab lots of succes to stabilize the grid and grow slowly towards the new web standard i believe it’s going to be. It’s a fantastic world ♥
