Vampires
Some avatars Role Play in Second Life. You can join clans and become a vampire f.i. One most used system is Bloodlines.
The Bloodlines members have a hud and the scan the area for people they can bite. You receive a blue screen asking you if you want to accept the bite. If you do, your name will be added to the attacks of the vampire. A vampire that is the first person to bite someone who hasn’t joined Bloodlines, they will get their soul only when they purchase the system. The bite is an animation and your avatar will not be harmed. But… always remember..you DO NOT have to accept it! It’s not part of SL, its a free choice and the vampire will not die if he or she can’t bite you.
You can always ask question to the person who wants to bite you. At Java Islands we do allow vampires, but, only if they do not harass of course. Another thing i am looking into is the lag the huds may cause. In order to find people who have not been bitten, they scan the area and connect to the website. To be continued
