Roling restarts & lag
Due to all the lag, rezz, script and other issues LindenLab will do an update on the server code. At Java Island we monitor the sim every day and notice an increase in lag. Due to the amount of ppl and textures etc. they are wearing, pending downloads goes up to aroun 150 at times (this should be 0 or should be down as soon as an avatar is landed on the sim). Unlike other times i will only reboot the sim when its general performance is down to 15 FPS because it is not really helping to restart all the time. Until the 18th we just have to do with the performance we have. Please refrain from using highly scripted objects and large textures (as always).

We will be deploying server version 1.32.1 to the main grid during the week of November 17th. The rolling restart is scheduled as follows:
- 2009-11-17, Wednesday, 7am – Deploy to even numbered sim hosts
- 2009-11-18, Thursday, 7am – Deploy to odd numbered sim hosts
As with all of our server deploys, each region will be restarted once during one of the rolling restart periods. Most regions should be down no more than 5-10 minutes, although some fraction of the regions will take 20-30 minutes to upgrade. If your region stays down for more than 30 minutes, please contact support. Each region will receive warnings starting 5 minutes before that region is restarted.
